Gas Absorption Heat Pumps
Shorts Environmental Gas Absorption Heat Pumps (GAHP) can produce hot water for heating at efficiencies of over 140%, one of the lowest carbon footprints of any commercial and industrial heating device available. The product range encompasses:
- Air Source
- Ground Source
- Water Source
and is based around a 35kW heating module. These modules extend the heating capacity range from 35kW to 208kW.
The Shorts line-up offers high efficiency GAHP’s for heating (A Series); heating or cooling (AR Series); geothermal heating (GS Series); and simultaneous production of hot and cold water (WS Series). Polluting emissions are lower than the limits set by the Blue Angel certification (www.blauer-engel.de).
