With its extensive range of natural gas-fired absorption heat pumps and chillers, Shorts can provide specialist assistance with heating and cooling buildings efficiently - without using HFC refrigerant gases.
Typically, Shorts supplied gas-fired absorption heat pumps can produce hot water for heating at efficiencies of over 140%, which gives them one of the lowest carbon footprints of any commercial and industrial heating product currently available. The product range encompasses Air Source, Ground Source and Water Source models and is based around a 35kW heating module. These modules extend the heating capacity range from 35kW to 208kW.
